Bernard has been taught and experienced many valuable lessons through his life. His greatest pleasure in life is sharing his lessons, outlook and attitude with others, whether disabled of able bodied. Bernard’s corporate and adventure experiences have realised the importance of team dynamics and attitudes which he incorporates in both his motivational and team building sessions.

After many requests for talks, Bernard realised that is experiences are of huge value to others who require motivation either in the workplace or in their personal lives. He left his career as an accountant and pursued his passion for talking and sharing.

Get Motivated has since been able to incorporate a selection of speakers, some of whom are also wheelchair bound, giving the client a larger selection of themes to choose from.

Expanding on the motivational and team building, Bernard’s second passion has lead to us assisting other disabled people to fulfil their dreams, explore the outdoors and experience the things that they never thought possible. Get Motivated has put together specially designed outings for disabled groups and is able to hire out “off road” wheelchairs.

From his climbs of Mt Kilimanjaro, Bernard, in conjunction with his travel agents, is able to co-ordinate a well planned journey to the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro.
